Mark 4.35-41
It’s easy to be brave when everything is calm. We can have faith in God’s deliverance when we don’t sense a need to be delivered. But when the storms hit, and we have something to trust God for, all of a sudden bravery and faith can be abandoned for our own efforts to regain control.
If your storm causes you to be terrified, it is revealing that you are relying on self—just like the disciples.
