The Mount of Olives—Where to Stand and What to Read

Depending on what you want to read in the Bible, the Mount of Olives has a number of great spots to stand. Here’s what I suggest.

Where to Stand: The parking lot of the Seven Arches Hotel has several great spots designed for sitting and teaching, but they often are full of tourists and/or peddlers. I prefer to walk down the nearby road toward the Dominus Flevit Church and step into the large Jewish cemetery. There’s plenty of space and fewer people and peddlers. (See spot in Google Maps.)

What to Read: Zechariah 14:3-8; Matthew 24-25; Luke 19:11, 41-44; Acts 1:9-12
